Mi corazón, This night made me think about love... about my love.
Mi corazón, This night made me reflect about my own book of love (which is a bit long and boring).
Mi corazón, This night made me long for those moments when you read and sang from it.
Mi corazón, This night made me realize the about the ugly silence of you in that book:

Mi corazón, Today my people celebrate the night that brought us the day!
Mi corazón, Today my heart submits to this wonderful mystery,
Mi corazón, Today my soul is jubilant for the King of Heavens is born today!
Mi corazón, Today my mind has only this one thought when heading to mass tonight:
Adoro te devote, latens Deitas.

All is calm...

Mi corazón, Happiness and twinge are intertwined like thorned roses on my heart,
Mi corazón, I will continue to softly offer this feeling to our Lord, to His Mercy.
Mi corazón, I will continue to loudly ask for a beautifully happy good life for you.
Mi corazón, I will once again find the same paradox Mother Teresa talks about:
If I love until it hurts, then there is no hurt, but only more love

All is bright...

Mi corazón, Today I will renew my vows to love without measures and to follow Christ,
Mi corazón, Today I will renew my hands and my voice to raise this Cross filled with love,
Mi corazón, Today I will renew my will to show the bright light of Christ to all.
Mi corazón, Today I will renew my love and join my voice to the one of the psalmist:
My heart is steadfast, God; my heart is steadfast.

Γεια σου, Δ.Α.! Do I want to love the same way El Señor  Jesus loved? Normally, it is a question that I would answer yes. But it is always wise to know first what that means before deciding to do it. I guess, it is a little bit like marriage? El Señor  Jesus, having loved His own people, he loved them until the end. You've heard that, right? But what does that mean? I have some ideas of what that might mean... Let's start by answering who is 'his own people' ? As a first guess, we could it say 'It's his friends!', sure. However, on John 1, 11 , we can see that ' his people ' did not accept Him. Nevertheless,  El Señor Jesus came to the world for them. But He also came for those who accepted Him. With this, we can basically say that ' having loved his own people ' would mean basically everybody. Those who accept Him, as well as those who don't accept Him. Prayer's efficacy

In today's world, in essence pragmatic and dominated by technology, we are are accustomed to the immediate answers to our requests (e.g. when we search something on Google, on our mobile phones, we get a reply in less than a second!). 15 years ago that was something inconceivable in terms of speed, and now we get annoyed when we have to wait (e.g. Why isn't my text being sent right now!). In a world like this, it is not uncommon for me to find the real sense of prayer. Or at least, to question if my prayers are really effective. Really, most of our life has been automated to the point where we interact with many things by just pressing some button and we're served instantaneously (e.g. microwave oven, elevator, thermostat, etc.). I have to admit that, in the case of prayer, I also have been tempted to expect the same thing. In occasions, I've seen that even if I prayed, I don't get to see any change (sometimes I do). Always with me Pt.2

Καλησπέρα και Χαρούμενη Κυριακή, Δ.Α.! This is something I wanted to add to my blog for a long time but I don't know why I haven't done so up to this point. I guess life just gets in the way, huh? But then again, life puts you back where you need to be. You know, today was the feast of Christ the King . It's the feast just before the time of Advent that is the prelude to Christmas. It's interesting that today, on the birthday of someone that I love deeply, I get to have this song stuck in my head. I wish that person all the best. At the same time, yesterday, one my cousins, who I love deeply, went to encounter The Father. It's been a weekend marked by sadness (for obvious reasons) and happiness (because of the fact that Our Lord called her on such a feast), and while this song is close to my heart for another special reason, I nevertheless wanted to remember my cousin by putting this song's lyrics here.
